The Trust's Obstetrics Department provides care to families preparing to have a baby, as well as the birth itself and care immediately afterwards. The department is managed by a team of compassionate, dedicated and experienced consultants, midwives and nurses.

Antenatal appointments and the delivert suite are located at Sunderland Royal Hospital, D level. Maternity has a dedicated entrance to the right of Chester Wing Outpatients.
