Why not take part in the Active Sunderland 3K Fun Run?
The family friendly run takes place on 12 May during the Run Sunderland Festival weekend.
It takes place using part of the Siglion Sunderland City 10k and half marathon route and is the perfect opportunity to get involved in a large scale running event and soak up the atmosphere.
Entry to this year’s run will cost £11 however if you enter before March 21 you will get the special early bird rate of £9 per person. All entrants will receive a 2019 medal, goody bag and t shirt! Under 8s must run with an accompanying adult.
If you book your place through the City Hospitals Sunderland Charity Sunderland City council will donate a portion of your entrance fee to the Charity once you've completed the run.
