Active Sunderland Big Bike Ride Weekend 2019

The Active Sunderland Big Bike ride on the 15th and 16th June is an ideal opportunity for anyone whishing to fundraise for the Hospital Charity. It offers three different distances to ride over with the shortest ideal for families and the longer routes providing a challenge for those who seek one.

The family focused bike ride, on the 15th June, will take place in Herrington Country Park. At only 5 miles and completely within the boundaries of the park it is a perfect event for young people, families and beginner riders. Under 8s must cycle with an accompanying adult.

The 16 June ride will see 100s of cyclists setting off on challenging 20 or 35 mile routes. Both routes offer a variety of cycling and the chance to see some of Sunderland's finest scenery. Under 16s must cycle with an accompanying adult.
